The Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek is a world-renowned adventure in Nepal that takes trekkers to the base of Mount Everest (8849 m), the world's highest peak. Located in the Khumbu region, it provides breathtaking views of Himalayan peaks such as Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse. Pre trek briefing and preparatory day

On this day, our experienced guides will take you around the detailing of the trek ahead, in our office. This comprehensive briefing covers trekking routes, safety protocols, acclimatization strategies, and other crucial details to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. All the required documents are prepared and finalized in this day.

Kathmandu to Lukla ( 2860 m ) by flight and trek to Phakding ( 2610 m )

Begin your experience with a thrilling flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, which is at an elevation of 2,800 meters. After a relaxing 30-minute flight, we’ll embark on a scenic hike to Phakding at 2,650 meters, where you will discover the beauty of Sherpa culture and enjoy breathtaking mountain views.

Phakding ( 2610 m ) to Namche Bazaar trek ( 3440 m )

After having our morning tea at Phakding, we’ll ascend on a 6-7 hour trek, to reach the vibrant Namche Bazaar at an altitude of 3,440 meters. On this day, you get to enjoy the very first views of Everest, immersing yourself in the vibrant locality, and melting in the distinct blend of Sherpa culture.

Acclimatization day at Namche ( 3440 m )

On the third day of the trek, we’ll dedicate the day for acclimatization in Namche Bazaar, at an altitude of 3,440 meters. You do have an opt for optional hikes such as yak farm, Everest View Hotel and Sherpa settlement, to further adapt to the altitude while enjoying stunning views of surrounding peaks.

Namche ( 3440 m ) to Tengboche/Deboche (3,855m )

This day we’ll embark on a 5-6 hour trek through rhododendron forests, arriving at Tengboche/Deboche at 3,855 meters. You can observe musk deer, pheasants, and Himalayan Thars on your way today. After descending to Phunki Thenga Village and ascending to Tengboche, you will be greeted with stunning views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. You can also visit the Tengboche Monastery and stay overnight in Deboche.

Trek from Tengboche ( 3855 m ) to Dingboche (4,360m )

On the fifth day of the trek, we will leave to Dingboche for about 5-6 hours of trek. You will be passing by the Chortens, mani walls, and small villages, including Pangboche, where you can see the beauty of Mt. Ama Dablam(6,812 m) from a closer distance. As you gain altitude, you'll see stone walls surrounded by fields for protecting crops, including barley, buckwheat, and potatoes. Upon reaching Dingboche, we will stay at a Hotel and enjoy our dinner there.

Acclimatization in Dingboche ( 4360 m )

When we get in Dingboche, we will have climbed significantly, forcing our bodies to adjust to the lower oxygen levels and higher altitude. It is now necessary to undergo acclimatization once again. Engaging in purposeful activity is essential when prioritizing the adjustment process. We will intend to climb the ridge above Dingboche to enjoy stunning views of famous mountain peaks such as Island Peak, Cho Oyu, and Makalu.

Trek from Dingboche( 4360 m ) to Lobuche (4,930m )

On this day, we will trek to Lobuche at 4,930 meters, navigating challenging terrains over a 5-6 hour journey. You will encounter the mesmerizing Khumbu Glacier and traverse elevated mountain landscapes, setting the stage for a truly unforgettable day. At the Thukla Hills, you can see the memorial statues of climbers who lost their lives in this area. At the end of the day, we will reach Lobuche and spend our night there.

Everest Base Camp Excursion Lobuche ( 4360 m)to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m )and back to Gorak Shep (5,185m )

This day is a remarkable part of our journey, as we summit Everest Base Camp. We start by trekking through the Khumbu Glacier's moraine, reaching the picturesque Gorak Shep Village surrounded by snowy mountains. After leaving our belongings in Gorak Shep, we will hike to Base Camp for an up-close encounter with the world's highest mountain. You can delve in the beauty of peaks, cherishing memories, and head back to Gorak Shep. Along the way, we can enjoy the Khumbu Glacier, the world's highest glacier, making this day truly exceptional.

Hike to Kala Patthar (5,555m ) viewpoint and trek to Pheriche (4,250m )

On Day 9, we'll rise early at Gorak Shep, trek to Kala Patthar for a glorious sunrise over Mt. Everest and surrounding peaks—an awe-inspiring sight. After enjoying the viewpoint, we'll return to Gorak Shep for breakfast, rest briefly, and then trek to our next stop, Pheriche. Embarking on a 7-8 hour journey we shall witness the varied landscapes, capturing the essence of the Himalayas and finally arriving at Pheriche.

Trek from Pheriche( 4371 m ) to Tengboche ( 3860 m )

Today we will descend to Tengboche at 3,855 meters, enjoying a 5-6 hour trek through scenic trails and once again experience the cultural hub of Tengboche, relishing the charm of the region as we wind down on our trek.

Returning to Phakding ( 2610 m ) via Namche ( 3440 m )

Today, we trek from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar and continue our journey back to Phakding. The trail offers scenic views, and we'll pass through charming villages. Enjoy the familiar surroundings and the cultural richness of Namche Bazaar as we make our way back to Phakding for the night.

Trek from Phakding( 2610 m ) back to Lukla ( 2860 m ) and flight from Lukla ( 2860 m ) to Kathmandu ( 1400 m )

Our last day involves a final trek from Phakding back to Lukla. After around 3-4 hours of trekking, we'll catch a scenic flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, concluding our memorable Everest Base Camp adventure.
